Each vase spares ~22kg of hardwood — equal to 26–28 solid blocks. In hardwood, it is lost to 7kg carving, 8kg planing, and 7kg fire-drying, every step erasing forest time older than memory. Each piece of wood cut carries away decades of shelter, food, and silence, never truly replaced.

By choosing bamboo, those blocks remain, trunks where squirrels leap and nestlings cling. What would have been split into pieces still rises in full form, holding canopies where tiny lives play, forage, and grow. The playfulness of the forest endures, untouched by hands that take.

That choice means ~16 square meters of cover remain standing and ~200 liters of water saved — enough for 400 squirrels to drink in a day. In every detail of its grain, you hold not only a vase but also the echo of branches still alive, still whispering.
